I DID IT!!
Yup, I played Little Red Hen on Saturday. I ground my own wheat, and made beautiful (if I do say so myself), delicious (according to my whole family who couldn't get enough of the stuff), whole wheat bread! I even remembered to be a good mom and tell my kids the story of the little red hen and show them the wheat grinding and how it turns into flour and everything. So this was Saturday night that I took the picture, and as of Monday morning we're down to 2 loaves left because I put those ones in the freezer. Yeah, I'm actually making progress on my goal!

Oh, I'm SO proud of you for the bread-making episode. You'll have the roll thing down, too, in no time at all. (Assuming that you actually try it more than once this year.) I feel exactly the same way about the de-cluttering of the new year. But it seems to me that you have so little to declutter, even though you have 6 kids, because you keep at it all the time. Loved the girls' picture and your year's resolutions. Keep me posted on how you're doing when I'm far away.
They look great!
Homemade bread only lasts about 5 minutes after it comes out of the oven here. :)
It looks very yummy. I haven't made homemade bread for months now. I need to get back in the habit.
